MEALS AT THE CONGRESS
Please note that there are a few food options available at Skukuza. You can easily self cater in your chalet (making use of the camp grocery store) or you can get affordable meals at the Wooden Banana Cafe. If you feel like something a little more upmaket you can treat yourself at the Waterberry Restaurant in camp.

15th January:
- Arrival
- Transfer from the airport to Skukuza
- Welcome function
16th January:
- Congress sessions
- Boma dinner
"Boma stands for British Officers Mess Amenities – for safety in the wilds of Africa enclosures were built of reeds with a fire in the centre to ward off danger. There is such an establishment at the main camp of Skukuza and dinner this evening will be a barbeque under the stars around the fire"
17th January:
- Congress sessions
- Selati railway dinner
"There used to be a train running from Cape Town through the Kruger National Park and Zimbabwe. Too many animals were killed on the tracks so the decision was taken during Paul Kruger’s time to divert the railway around the Park.The tracks, however, still remain and the old station at Skukuza has been turned into a restaurant. It will be a buffet dinner this evening at the Station"
18th January:
- Technical Tour
- Restaurant dinner
" Every evening an a la carte dinner is served in the main restaurant of the camp – enjoy"
19th January:
- Congress sessions
- Diplomatic hall dinner
" The diplomatic Hall is to be used as a meeting point for delegates in the evenings - a full cash bar will be at your disposal thoughout the conference. Dinner this evening will be a casual finger supper around the pool area"
20th January:
- Congress sessions
- Gala dinner
"The Gala dinner is going to be very special. A wonderful evening has planned. We will start with a two hour game drive, followed by dinner in the bush, in the middle of the Kruger Park. We will be treated to a meal under the stars accompanied with fantastic South African wines."
21st January:
- Everyone heads home
- Transfer from Skukuza to the airport
The Congress Programme will include a plenary session each day, opened by selected Keynote Speakers. Each plenary session will be followed by Oral and Poster sessions with themes which could include, but are not limited to:
